It's Been A While

Hello to whoever is reading. It's been a while since I blogged. Well, I graduated from college, got my degree and am unemployed. Life is amazing though! haha! That's not in any way sarcastic. Things are going great with the band. Our first EP is coming out this Friday and it will be available on iTunes on the same day! So, if you want to check it out, we're Tipping Point and the name of the EP is called Vibe EP. I hope you like it if you do check it out. Other than that, I'm still looking for a job, miss my family and loving life. :)

RIL Grandma Fa'aumu

On March 6, 2010, my grandmother passed away. She was a strong woman who was always there for us and loved her family very much. Out of both my grandmothers, she was the one who was always there for me. She was always there when I was sick and was there during the hardest times of my childhood. My grandmother was a strong prayer warrior who was constantly praying for everyone in the family. Every morning before the sun even got up, I could hear her praying in her room, and I would hear her praying for each family member. She never prayed in general, she always prayed specifically for people. My grandmother was always supportive. When she got older, she still saw me as a little kid. :) Last time I saw her, I was saying goodbye to her before I flew to St. Louis with the band, and she told me to shower everyday and wash my hair twice a week. My cousins Ericka and Edwyna would always lie to my grandmother telling her that I'm outside playing in the rain and it's dark outside. Hahaha! My grandmother would yell "Tell Della to get inside and wash her hair!" And I'd be sitting right there wondering "WTH?". My grandmother was definitely one of the coolest grandmothers in the world. Now that she's gone, I can only think of all the things I learned from her. Hopefully one day, I'll be a grandmother just like her. Grandma, I love you so much and I miss you. I'm glad you're in a better place. RIL Grandma. I'll see you on the other side! :)
